Power Management Company to Provide Energy Management Services
to Rochester Business Alliance Members

(Rochester, NY) Power Management Company (PMC) has been selected by Rochester Business Alliance (RBA) to serve as the approved vendor for providing energy management services to its membership. RBA serves as the chamber of commerce for businesses in the nine-county Greater Rochester area.

Small and large companies are vulnerable to energy price volatility, which is why RBA leaders enlisted
the Rochester-based energy services company to provide strategic purchasing programs for its members. According to John Burt, Power Management's President and CEO, "Energy costs continue to have a significant impact on businesses, large and small. Our strategic approach to energy purchasing helps companies manage risk by providing multiple procurement options, as well as managing each account on an ongoing basis. All RBA members who are operating from a non-residential facility are eligible for the RBA Energy Program. Once a company enrolls, Power Management Company sources competitive bids for electricity and natural gas from suppliers. The owner chooses the preferred bid; signs a purchasing agreement; and Power Management Company takes care of the rest.
